ELIGIBILITY

A. First Year Master Degree programme in Engineering/Technology(M.Tech.) : Candidates with following background will be eligible for admission:

  1. GATE qualified with B.Tech/B.E in the respective engineering branches or in MCA / M.Sc. Computer Science/ M.Sc Mathematics (for M.Tech. in Computer Science/IT branch only)/ M.Sc Electronics (for M.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engg. only) from a recognised university.

  2. OR
  3. Without GATE but with CGPA 6.75 (in a 10 point scale) or 60% marks in the respective engineering branches or in MCA / M.Sc. Computer Science (for M.Tech. in Computer Science/IT branch only)/ M.Sc Electronics (for M.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engg. only)from a recognised university.

B. First Year Master Degree programme in Pharmacy (M. Pharm): Candidates with following background will be eligible for admission

  1. GATE qualified with B. Pharm. from a recognised university.
    OR
  2. Without GATE but with CGPA 5.75 (in a 10 point scale) or 50% marks in B.Pharm. examination from a recognised university.
C. First Year Master Degree programme in Architecture (M. Arch) : Candidates with following background will be eligible for admission
  1. GATE qualified with B. Pharm. from a recognised university
    OR
  2. Without GATE but with CGPA 5.75 (in a 10 point scale) or 50% marks in the B. Arch. examination from a recognised university.

    For all the above branches (M.Tech/M.Pharm/M.Arch) candidates appearing at the relevant qualifying examination in 2009 and waiting for their results can also apply. In-service candidates having professional qualifications equivalent to degree and with
    (i) 55% marks in aggregate (for M.Tech)
    (ii) 45% in aggregate (for M.Pharm/M.Arch) and 10 years continuous relevant experience with good performance record are also eligible for admission.

Non-GATE candidates to appear at the Online Test. (GATE candidates exempted)

Top 100 (PGAT) ranked students would be allowed a scholarship of Rupees Sixty Thousand per annum; a few economically weak students would also be eligible to avail this scholarship on a merit-cum-means basis.

Candidates are to produce original mark sheet of qualifying examination during counseling.

RESERVATION for different categories is subject to the decision of the appropriate authority
OUTSIDE STATE CANDIDATES are not eligible for admission into Govt. Colleges but are eligible for admission to Private Colleges
